Giovanni Dursi, 54, has studied and studies Philosophy and Social Sciences and works as a high school teacher in Bologna; He has also been professor of Philosophy of Education at the Department of Education, University of Urbino.
In the late '70s, he joined the anti-capitalist movement and the “ideas' struggle”, by publishing for various magazines, periodicals and newspapers. In particular, he developed the question of Marxism in educational, sociological and linguistic content.
He now deals with management training in the knowledge society and public communication, on behalf of a number of local administrations in Italy.
He is co-editor of the magazine Bologna "Zero in condotta" [http://www.zic.it/] and he took part in the political experience of the new civic organization Bologna Free City [http://www.bolognacittalibera.org/profile/GiovanniDursi].
